MSL/Senior Oncology, Multiple Myeloma (Mid-Atlantic)

AbbVie seeks a Medical Science Liaison or Senior Medical Science Liaison specializing in multiple myeloma for the Mid-Atlantic region. The role involves field-based scientific expertise supporting research and commercial objectives, with primary responsibility for communicating oncology science to healthcare professionals across the territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in oncology
- Present scientific information on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals
- Support R&D and clinical research initiatives including site identification, investigator meetings, and collaboration management
- Serve as medical and scientific resource to healthcare providers, answering clinical questions and addressing information needs
- Conduct training for medical affairs, sales teams, and other internal personnel on scientific and technical topics
Requirements
- Advanced degree required: PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP in relevant scientific discipline
- Minimum 0–2 years relevant experience for MSL; minimum 3 years for Senior MSL
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software applications
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to meet HCIR credentialing requirements including background checks and immunization proof
- Willingness to travel up to 75% and relocate to assigned territory
