Forklift OperatorWe are seeking eight skilled forklift operators to join our team and assist with material handling within a rapidly expanding distribution center. This role involves training on specialized forklifts to support the center's growth and operational needs.Responsibilities:Operate forklifts to move and handle materials within the distribution center.Ensure the safe and efficient use of forklifts to transport products.Participate in training on specific forklift models used within the facility.Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.Essential Skills:Proven forklift experience with a minimum of 2 years.Previous certification in forklift operation.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Recent hands-on experience with forklift operations.Ability to adapt to advanced technology and automated systems within the warehouse.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and expanding company with a temporary project offering potential for long-term employment. Forklift operators will work on shifts, with options including Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday from 4 pm to 12:30 am. The center is equipped with advanced technology, providing a modern workplace for all employees.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
