Transportation Engineer We are seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer with 5-20 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in roadway design, as well as a solid understanding of DOT standards and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects across the state. Responsibilities: Lead and manage roadway design projects from planning to construction Collaborate with DOT to ensure project compliance with state guidelines and regulations Prepare and review design plans, specifications, and cost estimates Conduct traffic analysis and provide solutions to improve transportation efficiency and safety Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including surveyors, planners, and contractors Manage client relationships and maintain project schedules and budgets Mentor junior engineers and assist with technical development Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina 5-20 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway design Strong knowledge of DOT design standards and procedures Proficient in industry design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D) Excellent communication and project management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Opportunities for career advancement and professional development You can expect a quick response once I receive your resume.
