Job TitlePay Rate: $22 per hourDuration: 4 MonthsWork Mode: OnsiteLocation: Mount Bethel, PACandidate must be open to working day or night shiftHours per week: 40Night Shift: 4 days on/4 days off (EST)12-hour shifts with no rotating days and nights each 4-day rotationDay Shift is a 2/3 schedule centered around having every other Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off - 12-hour shiftsResponsibilities:Safely and efficiently operate assigned processes to meet daily quality, production, and productivity goalsPrioritize daily tasks in collaboration with Production Leads and SupervisorsParticipate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environmentReview and update Standard Operating Procedures and Learning ResourcesComplete annual personal goals for plant and personal developmentAssemble and disassemble production equipmentPerform basic maintenance on equipmentDrive a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time"Issue safe work permitsComplete all assigned trainingCross-train peers on approved functionsRequirements:High School diploma or GEDMust remain clean shaven for safety purposesAbility to wear a full face tight-fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suitAbility to medically pass a respiratory test and physical testFitness for duty, including the ability to lift 50 pounds and climb laddersAbility to work rotating shifts - days/nights, weekends, and holidaysDemonstrated positive and safety-first attitudeAbility to obtain assistance when confronted with problem situationsAbility to learn technical chemical processes quicklyEffective interaction with others to achieve plant goalsEffective written and verbal communication skillsTechnical troubleshooting skills to resolve process issuesSelf-starter with the ability to perform under pressure and changing prioritiesParticipation in the company's emergency response teamPreferred Skills:Associates Degree in Applied Science in Processing Technology or related scienceMinimum 2 years of experience in a process operations environmentExperience in chemical or hazardous material handlingExperience working on mechanical/electrical systemsExperience with Nuclear, Electronics, or Mechanical trainingUnderstanding of analytical processes for chemical processingKnowledge of root cause investigation process and methodologyKnowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturingComputer literacy
