Regional Sales & Sourcing Manager

Job Overview Regional Sales & Sourcing Manager – Chicago Ridge, IL. As part of the Chicago Ridge team, the role focuses on developing, managing, and growing a regional book of business for recycled glass materials. Key Responsibilities Travel regularly to supply chain partners, including municipal recycling programs, MRFs, glass processors, beverage manufacturers, construction and demolition contractors, hospitality groups, and other commercial or industrial glass generators. Sourcing new business, negotiating pricing and contracts, and managing supplier relationships to secure a consistent supply of high‑quality recyclable glass aligned with company strategy. Assess glass types, contamination standards, processing requirements, logistics, and end‑market specifications to determine value, pricing, and profitability. Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, transportation, environmental, finance, and commercial teams to maximize volume and margin. Develop and implement supply‑source plans, including identifying target geographic areas, collection methods, and potential partners for non‑traditional supply sources. Execute and track non‑traditional supply logistics, costs, and related efficiencies for external and internal customers. Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, landfill costs, collection costs, recycling costs, and logistics. Understand and navigate local regulations and community receptiveness regarding recycling opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, partners, and target supply customers. Coordinate with finance, plants, marketing, and supply teams to clarify contracts, resolve issues, and maximize operational efforts. Train staff on non‑traditional supply sourcing and adapt internal systems, accounting, etc., to new product lines. Conduct pre‑sales activities, gathering marketing materials, pricing plans, and supplier needs to prepare for negotiations. Match Supplier needs with Sibelco services, effectively communicate pricing and service strategies, and proactively engage in other internal opportunities. Qualifications & Experience Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in sourcing and supply‑chain management within the recycled materials sector, strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills, and the ability to travel frequently. Experience with non‑traditional supply sourcing, local recycling regulations, and cross‑functional collaboration is preferred. Employment Details Employee Type: Permanent.
