People Caring For And About People.Your Role as a Housekeeper:Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitorsClean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas including hallways, dining rooms, and recreational spacesSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform carpet cleaning as neededClean and sanitize surfaces such as furniture, countertops, sinks, toilets, and showersClean walls, windows, mirrors, vents, elevators, and stairways as neededDispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policiesRestock housekeeping and sanitation supplies throughout the facilityAssist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and clothingReport maintenance needs or safety concerns to leadershipSupport residents during mealtimes by assisting with trays and observing/reporting concernsFollow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelinesMaintain a calm, respectful, and caring environment for residents and team membersParticipate in required trainings, in-services, and team meetingsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum of 10th grade education requiredMust be at least 18 years of agePrevious housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare settingAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitationAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skills and ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staffPhysically able to stand, walk, bend, lift (50+ lbs), and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishYour Next Step Starts Here!
