Family Law Attorney (Trial Exp Preferred) Full‑Time | Hybrid – 2 days remote, 3 days on site | Fort Lauderdale, FL | Compensation: $157,000–$202,000 | Benefits | Exempt Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is seeking a senior‑level Family Law Attorney with a strong litigation background to handle complex, high‑value matters. This role is designed for an experienced courtroom advocate who can independently manage cases, craft strategic legal solutions, and deliver results in high‑stakes situations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident in court, with the professionalism, empathy, and discretion required for sensitive family law matters. You will work closely with a skilled support team while maintaining full ownership of your cases from intake through resolution. This position requires a strategic, detail‑oriented attorney with sound judgment, strong client communication skills, and a commitment to high standards. What You’ll Do Family Law Litigation & Advocacy Serve as lead counsel on divorce, custody, support, post‑judgment, dependency, domestic violence, and high‑asset cases Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, evidentiary proceedings, and trials Maintain a professional, confident courtroom presence Communicate case strategy, options, and updates clearly with clients Handle sensitive matters with empathy and diplomacy Strategic Case Management Develop and execute tailored litigation strategies Identify risks, evidentiary issues, and settlement opportunities early Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements Proactively gather evidence and manage case progression Apply strong legal analysis and sound professional judgment Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with paralegals, staff, and external experts Provide direction while fostering a respectful team environment Manage multiple priorities with strong organization and follow‑through Required Extensive Florida family law experience with strong litigation background Significant courtroom and trial experience Active Florida Bar license in good standing Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Strong written and oral advocacy skills Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish Ability to meet or exceed billable hour requirements Preferred Experience with high‑asset divorces, business valuations, or complex financial matters Experience mentoring junior attorneys or staff Core Competencies Strategic, analytical, and solution‑oriented thinking Strong organization and attention to detail Professional, ethical, and discreet approach Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Clear, direct, and empathetic communication style Accountability and ownership of outcomes Adaptability and responsiveness to feedback Technology proficiency and process‑oriented mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr Mayersohn Law Group, P.A.
