Broad experience in insurance defense is a plus, as is experience in insurance coverage work and construction litigation. Must be licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas state and federal courts. Additional state admissions is a plus. The following are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to do this job successfully under the direction of a partner:Draft, prepare and handle pleadings, motions, orders and legal memorandaDraft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motionsConduct legal research competently and with proficiencyPrepare and take depositions of parties and expertsReview client documents, draft case evaluations and status report correspondenceAssist with and participate in mediations and court appearancesThe firm provides an experienced support staff, current technology, ongoing training, and full-time IT and marketing departments.Litchfield Cavo LLP supports and encourages workforce diversity.
