Sanitation Technician 1st Shift (5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Mon-Thur)

Key Responsibilities Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly sanitation tasks as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and designated by the Quality Manager. Clean floors, walls, ceilings, and moving stock with chemicals. Adhere to safety and chemical standards. Perform interior and exterior sanitation tasks. Maintain food safety by keeping facility areas clean. In the absence of the Quality Manager, follow delegated tasks. Report food safety, food quality, or plant safety issues. Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior sanitation experience preferred. Ability to hear and follow verbal instructions. Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions. Good documentation skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Work Environment / Physical Demands Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Require specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes/airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. May be exposed to high areas using scissor lifts.
