This role is ideal for a highly skilled technical professional with deep expertise in BMS platforms, building automation, Windows server environments, networking, and system troubleshooting. Candidates must currently reside in CaliforniaThe successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining system performance, improving reliability, supporting security initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors across complex facilities and enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, control, and optimize building systems using automated BMS platforms to ensure operational efficiency and occupant comfortProvide advanced technical support for building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, battery, and power management systemsSupport large-scale Microsoft Windows Server environmentsCollaborate with Project Managers and application subject matter experts to validate system builds and deploymentsDevelop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts using PowerShellPerform advanced troubleshooting of Windows operating systems, including registries, permissions, services, and system performanceApply strong knowledge of networking and TCP/IP protocols such as DNS, ICMP, SMB, and SSL/TLS during setup and issue resolutionSupport planning and deployment of operating system and infrastructure-related projectsPerform security patching for Microsoft Windows systems and work with stakeholders to resolve compatibility issuesCoordinate with third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system-specific technical issuesLead or support Operational Technology internal audit activitiesPartner with IT Support and other cross-functional teams to maintain secure and reliable operationsHelp design and implement scalable technical solutions that support business and operational requirementsManage multiple support issues, system improvements, and technical priorities in a fast-paced environmentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceMinimum of 7 years of related experience in BMS, building automation, operational technology, IT infrastructure, engineering systems, or similar technical environmentsExtensive hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is requiredMust currently reside in CaliforniaStrong experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and server infrastructureDemonstrated experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across facility and IT environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skills with technical teams, project stakeholders, and vendorsCommitment to ongoing professional development in IT, OT, and cybersecurityPreferred QualificationsStrong proficiency in BMS software and building automation troubleshootingExperience supporting automated HVAC, lighting, battery, and power management systemsBACnet certifications such as BC, AAC, ASC, or AWSCCNA or CompTIA Network+ certificationISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity trainingExperience with MS SQL and other database technologiesStrong knowledge of firewalls, managed switches, and structured cablingExperience developing technical solutions for operational and business needsStrong project coordination or project management skillsExperience supporting building automation, facility systems, or operational technology in a large or complex enterprise environmentAbility to prioritize and manage multiple requests, incidents, and improvement efforts effectivelySecurity Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
