Job Description:

Our location in Layton is a successful, locally owned, Print and Communications company that has been servicing businesses in Davis County for over 30 years. The CSR is the front line of communication for the Business Center and must build rapport with walk-in, phone and Internet referred customers; therefore he or she should have a professional appearance and genuine concern for customers. The CSR will increase sales via excellent customer service and product knowledge.

As the face of the Business Center a CSR will be able to assist with order entry, consultation, overcoming objections and providing qualified leads to outside sales representatives. A Customer Service Representative should view their role as a path towards outside sales and strive to build client relationships each day.

Qualifications:

• Two to five years of experience in a Customer Service or Sales environment (or a combination of education and experience)

• Experience in a printing, graphics arts, promotional products and apparel is a major plus

• Good verbal and grammar skills

• Basic computer skills, ability to learn MIS software (Management Information Software) for entering orders, estimates, and front counter transactions

Responsibilities:

• Properly greets the customer in person or over the phone

• Takes complete messages for team members

• Identifies customer printing and duplicating needs

• Recommends additional value-added services

• Quotes turnaround times

• Follows-up on estimates, asks for the order

• Enters orders in MIS system

• Handles cash transactions and deposits at front counter

• Verifies order accuracy and pricing

• Notifies customers when order is completed

• Handles customer complaints; forwards to management when appropriate

• Maintains front counter cleanliness

• Maintains front counter filing systems

• Has a thorough knowledge of all AlphaGraphics products and services, production processes, capabilities, and pricing

• Consults with customers to help them make decisions; up-sells when there is opportunity

• Captures customer's specifics using "Job Analysis" questions

• Assists outside sales function and inside production when requested
