3D Pattern Designer - Modern Womenswear

Through its signature use of artful prints, feminine silhouettes, and dimensional approach to detail, the collection revisits its foundation of artistry and craftsmanship season after season, constantly reinventing its focus on everyday luxury. Known for its intricate finishes and polished point of view, Rebecca Taylor pulls from the past to create modern pieces accented with a romantic touch. The 3D Apparel Pattern Maker is responsible for creating proto sample patterns and 3D garment simulations for contemporary womenswear collections. This role works closely with Design and Technical Design to support digital development from concept into proto pattern. Responsibilities Develop proto sample patterns for the contemporary Size 4 fit model using existing fit blocks and measurement standards. Work closely with Designers to interpret silhouette, proportion, and visual direction. Partner with Technical Designers to ensure measurements and fit standards are executed accurately. Utilize custom fit blocks to create new development patterns. Present 3D renders to Design for approval prior to finalizing patterns. Execute revisions requested by Design or Technical Design teams. Export finalized patterns in DXF format and submit final 3D render images for internal file records. Maintain organized digital files and version tracking throughout development. Job Requirements 1-3 years of experience in 3D design, patternmaking, or Technical Design Intermediate to Advanced skills in CLO3D or VStitcher preferred Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and patternmaking. Experience working with digital patterns and 3D garment software. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
