Patient Access Supervisor

Education Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Prefer a minimum of five years experience in a patient accounting setting. Must be familiar with all aspects of Patient Financial Services: Registration, Quality Assurance, Preadmissions, Billing, Accounts Receivable, payments and adjustments and collection. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Required Skills: Must have in-depth knowledge of all third party billing registration criteria. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are essential. Analytical and organizational abilities must be above average. Communication and public relations skills should be excellent. Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace as essential functions of the job. Honesty and maintaining a professional composure in public are important aspects of the job.

Available to be on rotation for after hours on-call.

Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health. Able to work under supervision or independently a directed by the situation and under stressful conditions.
