Role SummaryThe role will provide fundamental equity research support for our Technology analystThe Associate Analyst program is a three-to-five-year structured program offering ongoing training and mentoring and is designed to develop future fundamental investment analystsDiverse responsibilities including collaboration with senior research analyst(s), extensive financial analysis, and company/industry related research projectsOpportunity to interact with public company C-suite executives, both in our offices and in the fieldDaily opportunity to learn directly from our senior investment professionals, providing fundamental equity research support while learning the necessary skills to become a successful institutional investorExpectation to provide investment insight and impact the investment process beyond just number crunching Competitive compensation with significant upside potential for high performers Exceptional performers have the potential to be promoted to Investment AnalystResponsibilitiesThis is a talent development program. Typically, the Associate Analyst is assigned to one or two senior investment professionals to execute a variety of tasks, including those listed below.Building/updating financial models Assisting in quarterly earnings analysis and writing takeaway summariesAttending conferences and meetings with management teams Conducting various industry and thematic deep dives Preliminary work on new investment ideas Accomplished Associate Analysts may also have an opportunity to rate and recommend stocks after several years QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s Degree required with a strong academic background AND1+ years relevant work experience (equity research or investment banking experience preferred)Strong Excel and financial modeling skills including previous experience building three-statement modelsPreferred:Highly motivated, confident self-starter, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a performance-driven environment A demonstrated interest and passion for equity investing and financial markets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis Progress toward the CFA designation; strong preference for candidates that have successfully completed at least Level 1 of the CFA designation Familiarity with Python and AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex is preferredFINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.
