- 2+ years of being the lead business analyst on projects
- 7+ years of overall business analyst experience
- 7+ years of requirements gathering and/or user stories
- 5+ years of insurance (life insurance or annuities preferred)
Our client is looking to hire multiple lead business analysts to be the lead analyst on varying projects related to their life and annuity project portfolio. You will lead the facilitation of requirements with the business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements that will be used by the design and development teams to build technical solutions. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to understand client requirements which will take vast knowledge in the insurance industry. Life and/or annuity experience is preferred. Potential projects:
- Automated workflow distribution (AWD) upgrade to SS&C Chorus, Appian, Uncork, or Creatio
- Telephony upgrade
- Underwriting automation
- Upgrade to commission system
- Business expertise: provide deep expertise in at least one business area or domain with a broad understanding of business and domains surrounding the main focus. Think strategically in understanding business drivers to define "target state" solutions.
- Current state, future state and gap analysis: independently assess and document current state across multiple processes, business areas and domains while consulting and mentoring other business analysts.
- Gather requirements: lead requirement gathering for large efforts across potentially matrixed teams
- Author user stories and/or features: author user stories and/or features independently with medium to high complexity and sometimes across multiple teams.
