About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Finance to play a pivotal role in guiding strategic financial decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial evaluation of a range of commercial opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. This role demands a leader with extensive experience in commercial and corporate finance, a proven track record in evaluating complex transactions, and a strong background in financial modeling, business case development, and executive-level financial reporting. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing high-impact analysis, board-level reporting, and cross-functional initiatives to support growth and enhance operational effectiveness. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Commercial Finance at the company include directing negotiations for complex business deals, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and overseeing the creation of investment memos and financial models. The role requires the ability to lead special projects, operational reviews, and process improvement efforts, as well as to mentor and develop the commercial finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of financial reporting, cash flow planning, and budget management, and will be adept at communicating financial insights to senior executives and board-level audiences. A background in managing external partner relationships, including investors and joint venture participants, is also essential.
