Your Role as a Lead Teacher Lead classroom instruction and guide young learners. Plan engaging activities that promote development across multiple domains. Ensure the safety and well‑being of children. Build strong parent partnerships through open communication. Requirements At least 18 years old, can pass a background check, hold a high school diploma or GED, and complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire. Education in Early Childhood Education and prior experience in a licensed center are strong pluses. Possess genuine empathy and understanding of children’s needs and development. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Show flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
