Job Description
Job Title: Junior AccountantLocation: Addison, IL (100% onsite)Pay Range: $23/hr- $27/hrBenefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k)Role Overview: The Junior Accountant will be responsible for the maintenance of financial records and ensuring accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Help ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts
- Prepare account reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports
- Help prepare journal entries
- Assist in P&L account analysis
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and confirmation at year-end close
Qualifications:
- Understanding of accounting principles
- High attention to detail and a team player
- Basic Excel skills
- Degree preferred, but not required
