Key Responsibilities As a Tax intern in Simplot's Tax Department, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Preparing sales/use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions across the US. Compilation of information to support sales tax audits. Assisting with tax research and documenting findings. Monitor and record property tax bills and assessments using tax technology. Assist with income tax research and special projects. Assist international GST/PST filing. Typical Education Must be pursuing a BA/BS or MS in Accounting or Tax. Must be a full-time student. Successful candidates for this position will have: Strong software skills; specifically, with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other MS Office applications. Excellent communications skills; both verbal and written. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 An interest in an indirect tax career Flexibility with the work schedule, particularly in the school year.
