Tech Lead / Solution Architect

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or IT operations, including 2 or more years in a senior or technical leadership role
• Experience with insurance technology and knowledge of property and casualty or life and health underwriting and policy lifecycles
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or a comparable programming language
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and working in complex system environments
• Familiarity with underwriting platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar solutions
• Knowledge of AI technologies and emerging capabilities
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Comfort leading technical reviews, collaborating with vendors, and constructively evaluating proposed solutions

• Provide technical leadership across enterprise applications, integrations, and supporting platforms
• Establish and promote consistent architecture, development standards, and technical best practices
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, integrations, workflows, and solution designs
• Design and coordinate integrations between internal applications and external data sources
• Lead troubleshooting, incident response, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues
• Develop proactive processes to identify, report, and resolve system errors
• Ensure solutions meet applicable security, privacy, compliance, and risk requirements
• Work with business, product, and technical teams to turn business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories

Compensation is determined using factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs; the stated range may change, and compensation is subject to applicable earning and vesting terms. The role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
