Earn $70,000 to $80,000 per year Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, with a large portion of premiums paid by the company 401(k) with company matching Generous paid time off Company-provided take-home truck Gas card for work-related travel Ongoing training and access to industry resources Clear opportunities for advancement through internal promotion Why You'll Love It Here Join a company with a strong reputation that has been serving customers since 1956 Work alongside experienced professionals who value quality, accountability, and teamwork Be part of a company that invests in your professional development Contribute to residential and commercial electrical and lighting projects that make a lasting impact Work for a team that recognizes your expertise and supports long-term career growth Your New Role Attend bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and pre-bid conferences Review RFPs, electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics Prepare accurate electrical estimates for small to medium-sized commercial and residential projects Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs Develop estimates using historical cost data and estimating software Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure competitive pricing Prepare and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle Maintain accurate estimating documentation and project records Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the bidding and preconstruction process Support continuous improvement of estimating processes while ensuring compliance with NEC and applicable local building codes 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and electrical construction Proven experience in preparing accurate project estimates Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes Proficiency with electrical estimating software Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record Authorized to work in the United States McBride Lighting & Electrical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
