Production Manager is responsible for scheduling, planning and overseeing all aspects of fabrication and manufacturing in our Elburn, IL location.

Our ideal candidate has shown success in managing teams of welders, machinists and fabricators/assemblers to produce high quality products and systems. This is an on-site position with limited or no travel.

We produce various fabricated systems involving welded stainless steel and plastic piping, valves, pumps, motors and controls with sensor input and communication as a complete package to be installed at a customer's site.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and plan production activities to meet deadlines
• Oversee quality control and ensure product standards
• Develop and optimize fabrication and manufacturing workflows
• Allocate resources effectively across teams and processes
• Ensure safety compliance in collaboration with other departments
• Manage fabrication oversight including welding, machining, and assembly
• Coordinate moderately with suppliers and vendors

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and related standards and codes
• Previous direct experience managing a welding and fabrication team
• 5+ years of experience in production management
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience in production scheduling and fabrication processes
• Strong problem-solving skills
