The Logistics Coordinator role is part of the Riverbank Logistics team and supports the efficient execution of transportation, logistics, and supply chain activities to ensure exceptional service for customers and partners. Roles and Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Work with internal stakeholders at P2 Energy Services to set up and coordinate daily flatbed shipments of OCTG, line pipe, and related oilfield products between manufacturers, storage yards, transload facilities, and customer locations. Secure qualified carriers and negotiate freight rates while ensuring service expectations are met. Track and monitor shipments throughout the transportation process to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. Maintain accurate shipment records and transportation documentation. Serve as a primary point of contact for carriers and drivers regarding load instructions, delivery schedules, and issue resolution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners. Customer Service Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status, delays, and delivery confirmations. Work closely with sales, operations, yard personnel, and customers to ensure successful load execution. Address transportation‑related issues quickly and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Operational Support Assist with load planning, scheduling, and routing activities. Help identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and reduce freight costs. Support after-hours and weekend coverage as part of on‑call rotation. Assist in managing transportation capacity during periods of high activity. Systems & Reporting Enter and maintain shipment information within McLeod Software and other transportation management systems. Generate reports related to freight activity, delivery performance, and carrier utilization. Ensure data accuracy across operational systems and spreadsheets. Compliance & Safety Ensure all freight activities comply with federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Maintain compliance with customer‑specific requirements and safety standards. Support company initiatives focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Qualification and Education Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of oilfield flatbed transportation, freight brokerage, dispatching, or logistics coordination experience. Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Proven experience coordinating multiple freight shipments in a fast‑paced environment. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, transportation practices, and oilfield logistics operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Experience with McLeod software a plus. Preferred Skills Oilfield Flatbed Experience: Strong understanding of oilfield transportation requirements, securement practices, permit considerations, and delivery challenges. Dispatch & Load Coordination: Ability to manage multiple loads simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and service quality. Bilingual Communication: Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish for effective interactions with drivers, carriers, customers, and vendors. Customer Service Orientation: Ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify transportation challenges and implement practical solutions. Technology Proficiency: Experience in using transportation management systems and freight visibility tools. Organizational Skills: Strong time‑management and prioritization capabilities in a dynamic logistics environment. Analytical Ability: Capacity to evaluate freight costs, service performance, and operational efficiencies. Attention to Detail: Commitment to accurate data entry, load execution, shipment tracking, and documentation.
