Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented North America Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing internal, inbound and outbound shipments to the North American market, ensuring on-time deliveries, compliance with international trade regulations, and effective communication with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a customer-oriented mindset in a fast-paced international environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily shipments to the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Manage transportation planning with freight forwarders and carriers. Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time delivery performance. Prepare and verify shipping and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs documentation. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company procedures. Collaborate closely with Buyers, Warehouse Coordinators, Sales, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Administration to ensure efficient order fulfillment. Resolve transportation issues, delivery delays, and customs‑related challenges in a timely manner. Maintain accurate shipment records and update ERP systems. Analyze logistics performance and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. Support freight cost control and logistics KPI reporting. Expected travel 20% to ports and warehouse and 80% in office. Qualifications Preferred bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in international logistics, export operations, or supply chain. Experience managing shipments to North America is considered a strong advantage. Good knowledge of Incoterms®, import and export documentation, customs procedures, and international transportation. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and Courier Tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fluent in English (written and spoken); preferred Spanish and Italian.
