Posting Details Posted on June 18, 2026 Location Frederick - West Patrick 230 West Patrick Street Frederick, MD 21701, USA Work type: On-site Rate: $19.05 USD per hour Position: Direct Care Support Staff Schedule: Sunday 3‑11pm, Monday 8‑4, Tuesday 8‑4, Wednesday 8‑4, Thursday – OFF, Friday 8‑4, Saturday – OFF Job Description Development and Intellectual Disabilities Services (DDA) at Sheppard Pratt offers programs devoted to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including residential rehabilitation. The Sojourn Residential Program team provides integrated rehabilitation to individuals who have both mental illness and an intellectual disability. This is a direct care opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will provide a safe and therapeutic environment that facilitates the overall independence and wellbeing of your clients. Responsibilities Participating in the initial assessment, intervention, and re-evaluation of client needs. Working one‑on‑one with clients to learn or regain skills for successful community and independent living and socialization. Coordinating comprehensive care to assigned clients, including monitoring clients’ compliance with medication. Providing transportation and attending clients’ medical appointments. Developing rapport with clients and becoming part of their trusted support system. Willingness to obtain additional certifications and trainings as required. Active, non‑provisional driver’s license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle. Pay rate: $19.05 hourly.
