The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Radiologist to join the Division of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. This is a fixed term, open rank faculty position, commensurate with experience. Candidates should be board certified by the American Board of Radiology and/or American Board Of Nuclear Medicine (or international equivalent), with residency and/or fellowship training or equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. Applicants should demonstrate excellent clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills, with interest in academic radiology. Experience or interest in radiotheranostics and program development is strongly encouraged.

Faculty responsibilities include providing consultative and interpretive clinical services, administering radiopharmaceutical therapy, participating in multidisciplinary conferences, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in scholarly activity. Clinical infrastructure includes PET/CT (including cardiac PET), SPECT/CT, PET/MR, and dedicated radionuclide therapy suites. Research resources include a GMP compliant cyclotron and advanced radiochemistry facilities. This position will support the launch and growth of UNC's Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RPT) Program at UNC Hospital Medical Center and UNC Raleigh Cancer Center, in collaboration with Radiation Oncology. The Co Directors of the RPT Program will work collaboratively to oversee theranostics activities across both sites, including clinical staffing, patient care and complications management, quality assurance, education, and program development. Qualified applicants may be considered for the Radiopharmaceutical Co-Director position.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements - Candidates should be board certified by the American Board of Radiology and/or American Board of Nuclear Medicine (or international equivalent), with residency and/or fellowship training or equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience - Preference given to those with experience in a clinical setting.
