Job Summary Senior Quality Systems Engineer in the Quality Engineering Department: provide technical support, serve as a resource on all QMS and EMS questions and concerns, and lead the development, review, implementation, and maintenance of procedures and quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials, and systems. Responsibilities Perform internal, customer, and supplier audits. Develop and implement policies and procedures (ISO, IATF, AS, etc.). Manage document control, create training documents, and enforce good documentation practices. Review and update QMS and EMS documentation; review customer satisfaction reporting. Assist with material review board activities, corrective action review meetings, management reviews, and monthly management reports. Support quality management with continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain knowledge of all government regulations. Verify quality department meets key metrics. Issue quality reports to upper management regularly. Ensure suppliers meet company quality standards. Assist other departments with QMS and EMS inquiries, initiatives, and improvements. Perform other duties as needed and assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum five years of experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Experience in automotive, aerospace, or medical production (preferred). Knowledge of IATF16949, AS9100, ISO14001, ISO9001, and ISO13485 (preferred). Experience with quality procedures, standards, and customer requirements. Strong problem‑solving skills. Effective communication with customers. Ability to work under deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Salary Information A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $92,500 – $110,000 USD. Actual salaries may vary within or outside this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
