Procedural Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP)- Interventional Radiology- 40hr Days

The Interventional Radiology department is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our procedural team. This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekends, holidays, or call, offering a strong work‑life balance. The APP will be fully integrated into the operational/procedural team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered interventional care. Responsibilities include independently performing image‑guided procedures such as vascular access device placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and related procedures in collaboration with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. Essential Responsibilities Perform history and physical examinations, formulate care plans, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and provide education to patients and their families. Act as an educator and serve as a clinical resource for staff through formal and informal education, literature review, and participation in seminars and conferences. Coordinate the care of patients to provide safe, effective, efficient, timely, patient‑centered care; liaise between visiting nurses, clinical staff and consult services. Document clinical encounters clearly, precisely, and in a timely manner. Work in a collaborative relationship with other health professionals to determine health needs of patients and families, demonstrating and role‑modeling an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Physician Assistant required. Physician Assistant license, DPH Drug Control registration, and Basic Life Support Certificate required. 0–1 years related work experience required. ARC‑PA, NCCPA certifications. Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA. Experience with computer systems, web‑based applications, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Preferred Qualifications Three to five years of experience in a clinical environment. Oral Communications : Ability to comprehend and communicate complex verbal information in English to staff, patients, families, and external customers. Knowledge : Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use them in complex varied situations. Teamwork : Ability to lead collaborative teams for larger projects or groups both internal and external to the organization. Customer Service : Ability to provide high level of customer service and staff training, resolving service issues in a timely, respectful manner. Physical Nature of the Job Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force frequently. The job is physical in nature; employee needs to stand and/or move around throughout the majority of their shift. Pay Range $133,120.00 USD – $230,000.00 USD. The pay range listed for this position represents the annual base salary range the organization expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographic location, job responsibilities, or other permissible factors.
