Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• STEMI call coverage approximately 10-12 days per month
• Self-scheduling available for call coverage
• Float within department to EP and Stress lab as needed
• Work with 7 holding beds in cardiac catheterization lab
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have experience with Cath Lab procedures, Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR
• Advanced skills needed: PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP
• Perform procedures including TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, Implants, DCCV, TEE
• Work with equipment including GE Innova and Impella systems
• Use documentation systems MacLab and Meditech
• Surgical scrubs provided by hospital
• Work with experienced staff in self-scheduling environment

This healthcare facility is a 257-bed top-performing quality hospital featuring over 200 highly respected and qualified physicians. The facility is the only acute care hospital in the TriCounty area offering open heart surgery and maintains an Advanced Primary Stroke Center accredited by the Joint Commission and an Accredited Chest Pain Center. As an affiliate of the UAB Cancer Community Network, the hospital operates an accredited Cancer Care Center and provides advanced care for critically ill patients including cardiovascular and trauma injury care. The facility operates multiple emergency services including main ER, Pediatric ER, and Destin ER locations.
