Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days per month with self-scheduling
• Float within departments including EP and Stress lab
• Work with 7 holding beds and maintain patient ratios as assigned
• Operate advanced equipment including GE Innova and Impella systems
• Use MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have experience with Cath Lab procedures, Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR
• Advanced skills needed in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP
• Perform procedures including TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, Implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Surgical scrubs provided by hospital
• Work with experienced staff in a self-scheduling environment

The facility is the only acute care hospital in the TriCounty area offering open heart surgery and features an Advanced Primary Stroke Center accredited by the Joint Commission and an Accredited Chest Pain Center. As an affiliate of the UAB Cancer Community Network, the facility operates an accredited Cancer Care Center. The organization provides advanced care for critically ill patients, including cardiovascular and trauma injury care, and operates multiple emergency services including main ER, Pediatric ER, and Destin ER.
