Construction Project Manager

Equity Staffing is seeking a Project Manager I to support one of our clients in managing projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully while exceeding customer expectations.

Project Execution & Oversight

• Manage all phases of project execution from order receipt to completion
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with contract specifications
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Coordinate with internal teams including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Safety, and Quality
• Determine and allocate resources needed for project success

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
• Manage customer expectations and maintain strong relationships
• Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively

Financial & Contract Management

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-completion projections
• Analyze revenue, profitability, and utilization
• Ensure all legal, contractual, and commercial requirements are met

Reporting & Communication

• Track and report key project metrics (progress, budget, timelines, risks)
• Provide updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure timely communication across all project participants

Qualifications Required

• 0–5 years of project management experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively

Preferred

• Experience with technical or engineering-based projects
• Familiarity with contract and commercial terms
