What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using a mix of standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that address both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions that span the spectrum of communication challenges, including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to forge integrated care pathways.
• Provide essential education for patients and their families to encourage progress outside of clinical settings.
• Support occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain detailed documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational compliance standards.
• Stay ahead of the curve with ongoing education and collaboration amongst peers in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet fully ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is a plus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
