Part-Time Family Assistant Opportunity in Lincoln Square, Manhattan

• Position: Part-Time Nanny
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 hours per day; either 2:00 PM–7:00 PM or 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
• Salary: $35–$37/hour , depending on experience

We are a warm, organized family in Lincoln Square looking for a positive, energetic, and reliable part-time Family Assistant to join our home. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and takes pride in helping a household run smoothly. The job includes household management, taking care of a baby, helping cook, and assisting with tidying up.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is nurturing and engaging with children while also being organized, proactive, and comfortable providing light household support.

Responsibilities

40% Family Cooking

• Prepare healthy, family-friendly dinners on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Assist with meal preparation and kitchen clean-up
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and orderly

30% Household Support

• Perform light household cleaning
• Handle family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away
• Organize and maintain tidy living spaces
• Return household items to their proper places
• Help keep the home neat and orderly between professional cleanings

30% Childcare Support

• Assist Mom with caring for the baby
• Provide warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate engagement
• Read, sing, and talk with the baby throughout the day
• Take the baby on outdoor walks and enjoy age-appropriate play
• Assist with bath time and evening routines
• Maintain a calm, loving, and screen-free environment
