Security Officer

Security Officer Location: St Pauls, NC 28384, USA Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour Position Summary The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents in a professional manner. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points. Enforce access control and verify identification of visitors and employees. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies. Document daily activities and irregularities such as property damage or theft. Communicate effectively with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary. Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to observe and report security issues accurately. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. Prior experience in security or law enforcement is a plus but not required.
