Conference Producer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid, 3 days/week in office) Compensation: $90k Base + Bonus Our client, a well-established media and events business with a global footprint across financial services, is seeking a Conference Producer to research, develop and deliver conference agendas across its US event portfolio. This role is responsible for approximately 3-4 market-leading events each year within a specialist financial services sector. This is a hands-on production role for someone who thrives owning the full content lifecycle — from market research and agenda creation through speaker acquisition, onsite delivery and post-event evaluation. You'll work closely with commercial, editorial, marketing and operations teams to build commercially relevant programs that attract senior industry audiences and deliver exceptional delegate experiences. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify industry trends, emerging topics and commercial opportunities Develop engaging conference agendas and produce compelling session titles, descriptions and program copy Identify, approach and secure high-quality speakers from across the industry Build and maintain relationships with senior executives and industry stakeholders, including proactive meetings in New York and during research trips Manage speaker communications from invitation through to event delivery, including briefing and preparation Manage the production timeline for assigned events, ensuring key milestones are met Attend US events onsite to manage speakers and oversee agenda delivery, including chairing sessions and moderating panels Conduct post-event reviews and gather feedback to improve future programs About You / Qualifications 3-5 years' experience in conference production, B2B events or a similar content-focused role Proven experience leading conferences as the primary project manager, with full ownership of the end-to-end event lifecycle Confidence engaging with senior executives and inviting speakers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong project management and organizational abilities Commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives delegate attendance A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel internationally and nationally to support event delivery This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by hands-on content ownership and thrives on building industry relationships, from initial research through to standing on stage at the event itself.
