Personal Assistant

Holden Roofing , one of the top roofing companies in Texas, is seeking a highly organized and professional Personal Assistant to support our Austin Branch Manager. Founded in 1961 , Holden Roofing is a family-owned and operated company with offices in Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, Houston, Richmond/Rosenberg, Spring, and Dallas. For more than 60 years, we have helped homeowners and businesses recover from major events including Hurricane Ike, Hurricane Harvey, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Position Overview This role will primarily be based in our Austin office , with occasional flexibility to work remotely when appropriate. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision. You will work directly with the Austin Branch Manager while also interacting with team members from our other Texas locations as needed. Responsibilities Manage calendars, schedules, and appointments Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements Return phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally Prepare, send, and organize emails, documents, and correspondence Assist with insurance claim documentation and related paperwork Maintain filing systems and records Support office operations and administrative functions Assist with special projects and event coordination Perform data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks as needed Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Complete additional administrative and office duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Assistant preferred Strong calendar management and scheduling experience Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills High level of professionalism and discretion Strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly Experience with bookkeeping, data entry, or office management is a plus Strong proofreading and attention-to-detail skills Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks effectively Event planning or project coordination experience is a plus Exceptional customer service skills Requirements Flexible schedule and availability when needed Reliable transportation Ability to work primarily in-office in Austin, TX Must pass a background check and reference check Ability to start immediately Compensation & Employment Type Full-time hours 1099 Independent Contractor position Competitive compensation based on experience If you are a motivated professional who enjoys supporting leadership, managing details, and helping a growing company succeed, we would love to hear from you.
