Patient Care Coordinator

Job Description When someone cancels an appointment they need, do you simply accept it or ask questions and work to find a solution? When a schedule starts falling apart, do you wait for someone to fix it, or start putting it back together? When an uncomfortable conversation needs to happen, are you willing to have it? Loudoun Sports Therapy Center (LSTC) is looking for confident, highly organized Patient Care Coordinators to help manage our patients experience and keep our clinic running effectively. This isn't a passive front-desk position. You'll manage busy patient schedules, solve problems in real time, communicate expectation, and help patients stay committed to the care their clinical team has recommended. We're looking for someone who can be compassionate without being a pushover, friendly while still being direct, and willing to take ownership when something needs to be handled. What You'll Do Take ownership of patient schedules and actively work to keep them productive. Address cancellations, scheduling problems, and openings as they happen. Help patients stay consistent with their prescribed plan of care. Have direct conversations about scheduling, attendance, financial responsibilities, and clinic policies. Identify unscheduled patients and work to get them back on the schedule. Manage patient check-in/check-out, calls, emails, and daily patient flow. Verify insurance benefits, collect patient responsibilities, and assist with authorizations. Identify problems, find solutions, and follow through until they're resolved. Healthcare Experience Is Not Required Great candidates can come from hospitality, restaurants, retail, customer service, administration, scheduling, sales, or other fast-paced environments. We'll teach you the healthcare side.
