Compliance Credentialing Specialist

About the Job Seeking a Credentialing Guide who leads MedPro Healthcare Professionals through the compliance process while they are active and remain on assignment. The Credentialing Guide is responsible for data entering, collection, evaluation, and primary source verifications of existing healthcare provider information, which includes in-depth, detailed, or challenging research of information to ensure the compliance of our healthcare network. In addition, this role plays a key part in supporting client compliance expectations by ensuring timely communication, proactive follow-up on outstanding items, and quick resolution of issues that could impact assignment continuity or patient safety. The Credentialing Guide operates in a fast‑paced environment where prioritization, accountability, and attention to detail are critical to maintaining service levels and protecting client relationships. What You’ll Do Contact primary sources (example: hospitals, licensing boards, etc.) to gather and verify healthcare provider information. Register travelers for drug screens, tests, and any other credential requiring third‑party assistance. Maintain all employment requirements (I9 reverification, annual documentation, annual testing, etc.) are met at the time of expiration. Maintain strong working relationships with candidates, vendors, and client compliance contacts to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency. Maintain and update travelers’ files in compliance with company policy. Assist with conducting required verifications and accurate documentation. Prioritize activities to meet service deadlines. Provide timely and professional communication to client contacts regarding compliance status, outstanding requirements, and upcoming expirations. Proactively follow up with clients to clarify compliance requirements, resolve discrepancies, and prevent delays in onboarding or assignment continuity. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of client communications within internal systems. Support urgent client escalations related to compliance items, ensuring quick turnaround and resolution. Build and maintain positive working relationships with client compliance contacts to support flexibility and collaboration when challenges arise. Complete additional projects as assigned by management. Required Qualifications 1 year of experience in credentialing preferred. Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills. Working knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook. Working knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry preferred. Proven success in a high‑volume customer service or data entry field. Professional level written and oral communication skills. Detail‑oriented and meticulous. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changes in regulations. Ability and capacity to successfully prioritize multiple responsibilities and competing priorities.
