Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

Lafayette, LA | Full-Time| $30,000-45K/year DOE

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a well-established insurance agency in Lafayette. This position is ideal for someone with previous insurance experience who enjoys assisting clients, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting daily office operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with policy questions and service requests
  • Process policy changes, payments, and account updates
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
  • Provide outstanding customer service to existing clients
  • Perform general administrative and office support duties as needed
Requirements:

  • Previous insurance industry experience required
  • Insurance license preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with computers and office software
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Professional, dependable, and able to multitask
Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
