The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our business and commercial litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong writing and courtroom skills who is looking to handle substantive responsibilities in active cases. Responsibilities Draft high-quality legal briefs, motions, and memoranda across a range of litigation matters. Present and defend clients at depositions. Take and manage depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts. Make hearing and motion appearances in state and federal courts throughout Texas. Serve as second chair at trials and other hearings. Collaborate with partners and attorneys on case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation. Provide practical guidance to clients and ensure deadlines are met. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar (mandatory). Minimum 4+ years of litigation experience, with demonstrated ability to handle depositions and hearings independently. Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills. Comfortable managing deadlines and court appearances with minimal supervision. Prior experience in commercial or civil litigation preferred.
