About the Position

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal care License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: - BLS Provider certification - Neonatal Resuscitation certification - Advanced Life Support certification - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service Description: This position is for a Women's ED/OBED Unit. It is a Level IV Client Designation facility. The facility consists of 26 LDR suites and 6 C-section suites. There are 14 Triage rooms and 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms. Additionally, there are 15 monitored Ante-partum rooms. It serves as an academic teaching service and partners with large private OB practices. The unit provides high-risk, fast-paced delivery services, performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. A Perinatal Transport Program is also in place. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
