Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-Hour Shifts (7:00–5:30 or 7:30–6:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in a multi-suite lab environment consisting of cardiac cath, interventional radiology (IR), and electrophysiology (EP) rooms
• Support an average of 15–20 cases per day in a fast-paced, high-turnover setting
• Operate and document using Meditech EMR and GE MacLabs recording station
• Participate in call rotation, including 1–2 call days per week and every 4th weekend, covering cath lab and IR; 30-minute response time required
• Rotate holiday call coverage with permanent staff
• Complete a 1–2 week floor-specific orientation upon start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP specialty
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in both diagnostic and interventional lab procedures
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid case turnover
• Must not be a first-time traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Interventional radiology (IR) experience preferred
• Familiarity with GE MacLabs recording systems and Meditech EMR
