About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 10 Hours Hours per Shift: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab. IR experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnover. Experience with balloon pump required. Description: The position requires 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab specialty. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and expected to handle quick turnover. You must have experience with balloon pumps. The facility has 4 suites/labs: 2 for cath, 1 for interventional radiology, and 1 for electrophysiology. RNs will circulate in procedures and monitor cases. The average number of cases per day is between 15 to 20. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. You are required to fulfill on-call duties 1-2 days a week and work every 4th weekend. All staff will be subject to a 30-minute response time for call requirements. You will receive a rotating day off and a 4-day weekend every 5th weekend. No floating to other floors is required. Scrub color is provided and can be any solid color professional attire. The schedule for shifts is 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with 10-hour shifts. Call will cover holidays and will rotate with staff.
