A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Oregon Pharmacist to engage in an important 8-week contract focusing on an EPIC system conversion within a hospital setting. This role is based in Portland, OR, and offers the chance to contribute to a critical transition that enhances patient care and operational efficiency.
Location: Portland, Oregon
Job Type: Contract (8 weeks)
Start Date: Late August
End Date: Mid-October
Schedule: Variable days and afternoons
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the hospital pharmacy during the EPIC system conversion project
- Utilize knowledge of EPIC and Pyxis to ensure smooth integration and functionality
- Assist inpatient pharmacy teams to adapt workflows within the new system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and optimize processes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Oregon Pharmacist License (required)
- Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
- Prior experience with EPIC systems highly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
