The Opportunity

ASF is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee operations at our Denton, Texas facility. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficient material flow, supporting customer satisfaction, and driving overall branch performance.

The Branch Manager will provide leadership and direction to branch personnel while maintaining operational standards, inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This position works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Executive Leadership to support company growth and operational success.

What You’ll Do

· Manage day-to-day branch operations, including distribution, workflow, staffing, and customer support activities.

· Direct and supervise branch personnel to ensure productivity, accountability, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

· Ensure safety requirements and operational standards are consistently followed throughout the branch.

· Oversee opening and closing responsibilities for the facility.

· Coordinate and allocate daily work assignments to support operational efficiency and customer demand.

· Maintain inventory flow and operational organization to support receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping activities.

· Serve as the primary liaison between the branch and other company locations and departments.

· Support maintenance and facility operations by coordinating repairs, preventative maintenance, and vendor/contractor activities as needed.

· Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment for associates and visitors.

· Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

· Support company quality initiatives by following and enforcing company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

· Participate in leadership initiatives, operational improvement efforts, and cross-functional collaboration activities.

· Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch and company success.

What You’ll Bring

· Bachelor’s degree in Distribution, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.

· Minimum of 3 years of distribution, warehouse, or branch management experience required.

· Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory flow, and distribution center processes required.

· Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong understanding of operational safety practices and personnel management.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational/inventory systems.

· Ability to interpret operational data, procedures, and work instructions.
