Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 52 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating Employment Type: Local Contract Position Highlights Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Contract: 13 Weeks Schedule: Flexible shifts (Days/Nights/Weekends as needed) Adult acute care & cardiovascular patient population Requirements Active RN License (State or Compact License accepted) Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum 1 year of adult acute care experience Cardiology/Cardiovascular nursing experience preferred Required Certifications BLS (required within 30 days of employment) ACLS (required for PCU nurses within one year) PALS/ENPC preferred for cross-trained emergency departments Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult acute care and cardiovascular patients. Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor cardiac status. Administer medications and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.
