Inside Sales Representative

This position is physically located at our headquarters in Howell, Michigan.

Who You Are:

We are looking for a competitive, motivated inside sales representative who knows how to turn conversations into opportunities-and opportunities into sales. This is not a position for someone who simply reads a script and makes calls. We are looking for someone who can built rapport quickly, ask the right questions, overcome objections, confidently ask for the appointment, and close sales over the phone when the opportunity is there.

What You'll Do:

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
• Respond to and follow up with incoming leads
• Set qualified appointments for our outside sales team
• Follow up consistently with leads that have not scheduled
• Re-engage previous customers and older opportunities
• Follow up on unsold estimates and work to close the sale
• Identify buying signals and close deals directly over the phone
• Handle common objections involving price, timing, competition, financing, and decision makers
• Maintain an organized follow-up pipeline
• Meet daily and weekly KPI's for calls, contacts, appointments, follow-ups, and sales

Who we're looking for- The right person is comfortable picking up the phone and asking for the business.

You should be:

• Confident and persuasive without being pushy
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
• Excellent at building rapport over the phone
• Able to listen, ask questions, and uncover what the customer actually needs
• Comfortable handling rejection and objections
• Persistent with follow-up
• Competitive and motivated by measurable goals
• Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment

Preferred Experience- Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:

• Inside sales
• Telemarketing
• Appointment setting
• Call center sales
• Lead conversion
• Outbound sales
• Estimate or quote follow-up
• Home Improvement or Home Service
• Closing sales over the phone
