Overview This AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position at Pike Market Food Bank, located in the historic Pike Place Market, seeks a dedicated member to support operations, greet and serve visitors, and collaborate with local businesses. The Food Bank serves people of all ages in Seattle, promoting healthier, more self‑sufficient lives. Applications will be reviewed starting in late July. The role is funded and open until filled. Base monthly stipend is $3,157 . Responsibilities Greet, check in, and pack groceries for visitors. Provide support to staff on the market‑stand grocery line. Pick up and sort donations from local vendors. Deliver groceries to homebound clients. Receive training in de‑escalation, trauma‑informed practices, and warehouse operations. Shadow staff positions and take on special projects aligned to member goals and interests.
