Patient Services Representative Location: Bethesda, MD | Onsite Pay: $23-$26/hour Schedule: Full-Time Position Overview: Patient Services Representative provides administrative and customer service support within a healthcare setting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to create a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff professionally Answer and route incoming phone calls Schedule meetings and appointments Respond to caller inquiries and provide timely follow-up Take meeting minutes and maintain documentation Compose memos, correspondence, and reports Create presentations and assist with administrative projects Monitor invoices and expense reports Perform internet research and data entry tasks Maintain organized filing systems and assist with faxing/scanning Support daily office operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment Customer Service Expectations: Exceptional customer service is critical to success in this role. Qualified candidates will demonstrate: A welcoming, proactive, and professional demeanor in person and over the phone Calm and solution-focused communication, especially in escalated situations Timely updates and communication with patients regarding delays or concerns Professionalism and positive representation of the organization at all times A commitment to creating a caring and supportive experience for every interaction Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Prior healthcare administrative, medical office, or healthcare customer service/call center experience required Strong computer and data entry skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional presentation and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
