Manufacturing Recruiter @ Sapphire Recruitment, Inc. | CTS Certified Molding Foreman Pay: $60,000 – $70,000 annually Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. A leading plastics manufacturer in the Southern Tier area is seeking an experienced Molding Foreman to oversee daily operations of the Molding Department. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring quality output, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise molding operations and personnel on the assigned shift. Plan and assign workloads based on scheduling needs and employee skill sets. Perform mold, setup, and color changes as needed to meet production demands. Set and monitor molding process parameters to ensure product quality. Troubleshoot process, machine, and equipment issues to minimize downtime and scrap. Maintain accurate production reporting, including inventory, scrap, and efficiency metrics. Collaborate with Quality and Operations to enhance processes, safety, and productivity. Train and mentor shift employees on procedures, safety, and 5S standards. Lead continuous improvement efforts aligned with ISO 13485 standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. Minimum 5 years of injection molding experience with strong processing and troubleshooting skills. 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience. Proficiency with mechanical systems, power/hand tools, and basic math. Ability to lift 40 lbs. and remain on feet for the full shift. PC proficiency; MS Office and IQMS ERP experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
